Temperatures are rising, days are getting longer, and outdoor celebrations abound. It’s time for baseball games, road trips, and campfire soirees. When you’re having this much fun, who has time to eat with both hands? Summer beckons this weekend and I am meeting the call with frozen yogurt – on a stick!
- 3 cups Greek yogurt
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
- teaspoon salt
- fresh fruit as needed
- Other spices as desired
Thoroughly mix together the yogurt to achieve an even texture.
Separately, whip the egg whites with the sugar to form a stiff meringue.
Fold everything together until well incorporated.
Mold into premade pop molds, cups, or spread on a tray and, later, cut out your shapes as you like.
Freeze thoroughly and enjoy.
You can add more sugar, or honey, to this recipe during the folding stage to increase the sweetness.
- 100 grams dark chocolate
- 11 grams coconut oil
Melt together the chocolate and oil until completely smooth.
Dip your frozen treats into the mix.
Allow the excess to runoff the treat and harden completely.
Return to the freezer or enjoy right away.
