
- 250 g all purpose flour
- 11 g baking powder
- 5 g salt
- 2 g freshly cracked pepper
- 72 g butter
- 180 ml buttermilk

Combine dry ingredients together.

Shear the butter (fat) into the dry ingredients.

Mix to desired consistency.

Add Buttermilk (liquid) and mix until hydrated.

Using plastic wrap, fold your dough into an envelope and pat together gently.

Pat or roll the dough to your desired thickness and fold again to create layers.

Flour a cutter or knife and portion dough as desired.

Chill or freeze dough for later use or prepare to bake.

Bake at 425F until biscuits are the same golden brown color on top and bottom.
