Chef Joe Baker is a former U.S. Army soldier from Montana who attended L’Academie de Cuisine culinary school outside of Washington, D.C. Since graduating in 2008, Baker has worked in a number of prestigious restaurants, including Cityzen in Washington, DC; Las Canarias and Ostra in San Antonio; and the Mansion on Turtle Creek and Spoon Bar and Kitchen in Dallas. You may recognize him from So Good… the magazine of haute patisserie; Food Network’s Sweet Genius, King of Cones, and Beat Bobby Flay; or Today with Kandace.
